Answers to the most common questions about using TAIM54.
Getting Started
Click "Get Started" on the homepage and complete the registration form. Choose whether you're a buyer or a supplier. Your account will be active immediately.
Business verification is handled through our AI-guided supplier onboarding. Navigate to Onboarding → Supplier to begin. You'll be asked for your business registration number, location, and product categories.
Browsing the marketplace and submitting RFQs is free for buyers. Suppliers are free to list products and respond to RFQs. Transaction-based fees apply when orders are placed. Full pricing details will be published at launch.
For Buyers
There are two ways: (1) Find a product you need on the marketplace and click "Request Quote" — our AI will prefill a requisition form. (2) Go to My Dashboard → New Request and describe what you need in plain English. Our AI generates a professional RFQ document automatically.
A Requisition is a free-text description of what you need — you don't need to know the formal specification. Our AI converts it into a structured RFQ. An RFQ (Request for Quotation) is the formal document that gets sent to suppliers.
When proposals are received, our AI procurement engine evaluates them against your stated requirements: price, lead time, supplier reliability, and compliance documentation. You'll see a ranked shortlist with evaluation notes.
Payment is processed when you place an order. Funds are held in escrow and released to the supplier only after you confirm satisfactory delivery.
For Suppliers
Go to the Supplier Onboarding page and complete our AI-guided setup. It takes 10-15 minutes. Once approved, you can list products and start responding to RFQs.
Log in to your Supplier Dashboard and navigate to RFQ Inbox. RFQs are filtered to your product categories. Click any RFQ to read the full requirements and submit a quote.
Your quote should include: unit price, total price, currency, quantity you can supply, lead time in days, and any relevant notes. Attach certifications or compliance documents if requested.
Payments & Disputes
TAIM54 supports USD, EUR, GBP, and major African currencies including NGN, ZAR, KES, GHS, EGP, MAD, and more. Currency conversion for cross-border transactions is handled automatically.
Contact our support team through the Help Center or use the dispute resolution feature on your order. Our team will review all transaction records, communications, and delivery confirmations to resolve the issue fairly.
Managing TAIM54 on LinkedIn
TAIM54 posts to LinkedIn through the platform's Broadcast service. As an admin you connect the LinkedIn account once, then publish or schedule posts — either from the Social / LinkedIn page here, or in the full Broadcast console for richer composing.
1. Connect LinkedIn (one time)
Go to Admin → Social / LinkedIn and click Connect LinkedIn. You'll be sent to LinkedIn to authorize TAIM54, then returned automatically. Posts are published to the LinkedIn profile you authorize, so sign in as the account that should appear as the author.
2. Draft with AI (optional)
In the AI composer, type a short brief ("what's it about?") and click Generate with AI. It writes the post in your brand voice and you can edit it before publishing. Set your tone once under Brand voice so every draft stays on-brand.
3. Publish or schedule
Leave the schedule field empty to publish right away, or pick a future date and time to schedule it — scheduled posts fire automatically on the platform, you don't need to keep a tab open. Use Campaigns to group posts under a theme.
4. Richer posts & other networks
For images, multiple networks, or recurring campaigns, open the Broadcast console from the same page. It's the full composer; your TAIM54 brand and connected accounts are already there.
Troubleshooting
- Publish button disabled? LinkedIn isn't connected yet — finish step 1.
- A post failed? The account's authorization may have expired — click Reconnect and try again.
- Still stuck? Ask TC (the assistant, bottom-right) — it knows this workflow — or contact support below.
